It ordered the plant’s second continuous panel unit from Siempelkamp. This should start up in June or July 2015, three years after Berneck inaugurated its 500,000m3/year Siempelkamp MDF line at the US$375m complex.
The Curitibanos investment includes the addition of a third low pressure laminating line ¬- a 15,000m3/month Wemhöner unit due in May 2015.
New MDP line forming, press and finishing, from Siempelkamp, will have the full 2,400m3/day capacity.
Other machinery includes Pallmann wood preparation equipment, a Recalor dryer and Pal particle preparation section. The energy plant is from Vyncke while local firm Zanella will provide the foreign biomass preparation.
