The centerpiece of the plant at the Uva location – some 1,200km to the east of Moscow – is a 6ft x 30.4m ContiRoll.

With an estimated 500,000m3/year, the new plant will more than double the yearly capacity at the Uva location. With the new continuous production line, the company says it will strengthen its position within the fast growing particleboard market in due time.

Siempelkamp supplies every component of the modern particleboard line, from the log yard to the sanding line. The scope of supply includes chippers, silos, flakers, a 27.5t/h particle dryer as well as screens, separators, and the blending system.

The Generation 8 ContiRoll will be able to manufacture flexible board sizes (1,830 mm x 2,440 to 2,750 mm).

The foundation work for Uvadrev started on December 28, 2012. Assembly is scheduled to start in the winter of 2013.
