Norbord Inc’s OSB products have achieved certified ‘Green Approved’ status from the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) Research Center in the US.
Norbord said builders, designers and specifiers could use Norbord’s Green Approved products –which include: Pinnacle, TruFlor, Stabledge, TallWall, Windstorm, Trubord, Rimboard, and Solarbord – to earn points toward certification under the National Green Building Standard.
The NAHB Research Center certified Green Approved product seal programme was developed to help builders identify products that are eligible for National Green Building Standard certification points.
Green Approved products must earn a certificate from the NAHB Research Center that identifies the specific sections of the Standard where points for the product are available.
