Metso’s Wuxi Service Center for the pulp and paper industry in China celebrated 10 years of operation on August 25, 2011.
The centre, which also services Metso’s refiners for the MDF industry, was opened in 2001 and started with 60 employees.
Since then, the number of employees has grown to 150 professionals and the roll service capacity of the centre has been doubled through an extension in 2007.
The centre is located in Jiangsu province, about 100 kilometres west of Shanghai province.
