Sonae has demolished its woodchip bunkers following a major fire involving 1,500 tonnes of woodchip.
The blaze at the UK Knowlsey particleboard plant required firefighters for an entire week.
“Out of the six bunkers involved in the fire, four had no or very little product remaining and the other two had low to moderate product,said Mersey Fire area manager Phil Garrigan.
There were no personal injuries.
