Turkish wood based panel producer Kastamonu Entegre has selected Dieffenbacher as the main supplier for its 460,000m3/year MDF mill in Adana in the eastern part of Turkey which is now under construction.
The groundbreaking ceremony took place in October 2010, and production at the facility is expected to start Q2/2012, said Dieffenbacher.
The machinery order includes the biggest press (by press area) ever delivered to Turkey, with a width of 2.65m and a length of 55.5m.
The Dieffenbacher scope of supply includes the proven dryer and air grading system, and the supplier expects to install the advanced mechanical EVOjet blending system at a later stage.
