Simone Neuss, a PhD student in the group of Prof Günter Speit (Institute of Human Genetics, Ulm University, Germany) has received the 2010 Young Scientist Award of the GUM, the German-speaking section of the European Environmental Mutagen Society for her scientific contributions in the understanding of formaldehyde’s genotoxic mode of action.
