In part 2 of our survey of the world particleboard industry, the ‘rest of the world’ outside Europe & North America (Issue 6, 2010, p16), there was an error in the listings for South East Asia.
The Sumatera Prima Fibreboard (SPF) mill in Palembang, Indonesia, was incorrectly included in the listings as it is in fact an MDF mill.
This removes 445,000m3 from the stated total for S E Asia and the ‘rest of the world’ total.
