Longoni Roberto e Figli srl (LRF) is involved in the supply of press plates and belts, short-cycle press lines, impregnation lines and laminates of all kinds, together with its experience gained over a number of years in the surfacing industry.
The company is also the agent for Sandvik Surface Solutions for the South American region; and the agent for Aluminium Feron of Germany for the Indian market and, for the past 10 years, has had technical cooperation with the Chinese company NTST, which is a manufacturer of paper impregnating lines.
To date, LRF says it has supplied 27 impregnating lines from China worldwide. The company also says it has long experience in supplying turnkey plants for high- and low-pressure lamination (HPL and LPL) and has recently commissioned a turnkey project for a complete HPL factory for Lemark Co in Moscow, Russia.
That factory was equipped by LRF with all brand new machines, including:
- A resin plant for phenolic, urea and melaminic resin manufacture
- Three impregnating lines
- A thermal oxidiser to eliminate pollution from exhaust fumes
- Two high pressure presses: one with 14 openings and one with 24 openings
- Heating plants and a superheated water system with two-stage heat recovery
- A squaring and sanding line for HPL and a squaring line for compact laminate.
Longoni says it has also provided Italian technology for the production of standard, postforming, compact and exterior grade high pressure decorative laminates. Longoni Roberto e Figli has offices in Brazil and in Shanghai, China.
