The European-manufactured product is being used for the wall construction, covering a total 15,851ft2. Steel is used for the roof.
Playvalue Toys president Doug Jones said he opted to incorporate CLT after being introduced to the product at an Ontario Wood WORKS seminar in November 2011.
He said it offered many benefits, including thermal efficiency, aesthetic appeal and "very good" fire performance.
