Alongside the two existing executive officers Wolf-Gerd Dieffenbacher and Dr Günter Kuhn, Christian Dieffenbacher and Volker Kitzelmann have now joined the management board with responsibility for the entire company.
The inclusion of Christian Dieffenbacher into the management structure also ensures the future of Dieffenbacher as a family-run company. Consequently the expansion makes it easier to recognise a well-planned generational change.
Christian Dieffenbacher, a former member of the Business Unit Wood management team, has now taken over responsibility for the Wood Business Unit, purchasing, process and information technology, and marketing as part of his new role on the management board.
His responsibilities also include the strategic alignment of Dieffenbacher’s Chinese subsidiary. Volker Kitzelmann, previously head of the Business Unit Wood, takes over as CFO for the entire group, with responsibility for the finance and controlling, auditing, legal, personnel and logistics divisions.
CEO and chairman of the management board is Wolf-Gerd Dieffenbacher, who is also responsible for the Composites Business Unit.
As CTO, Dr Günter Kuhn is responsible for technology across all divisions. The Business Unit Automation, global production and the new recycling division also fall within Dr Kuhn’s sphere of responsibility.
The management team for the Business Unit Wood has also been reorganised. The new head of the Business Unit Wood is Bernd Bielfeldt, who also heads up the sales, technology and Project Realisation divisions within the business unit. Bernd Bielfeldt will be assisted by Stefan Zipf who is responsible for the product development, detail design and after sales divisions, as well as for Modifications and Modernisations.
