Imal has recently installed a Stela dryer on an OSB line in Italy which is now running efficiently.
Some of the many advantages of the installation include: no electrostatic precipitator required as emissions are below the limits imposed by law; low temperature operation eliminates fire risk; low freight costs as the equipment can be shipped in standard trucks; low temperature operation eliminates VOC emission and the colour of the strands or wood chips does not change; and costs for foundations, structures and turnkey are virtually non-existent.
The cooperation agreement between the two companies will be operational worldwide.
