The forming and pressing line includes a 9ft x 55.3m Siempelkamp ContiRoll 8th generation press and the line is planned to produce 480,000m3/year of MDF.
There will be a laminate flooring production line in the same location with a capacity of 20 million m2/year.
The investment will create 500 direct and 2,500 indirect jobs.
The next phases of the investment include a particleboard line with a capacity of 720,000m3/year and an OSB line with a capacity of 500,000m3/year.
When these three phases of the investment are completed, with a total production capacity of 1.7 million m3/year, it will be considered the world’s largest integrated plant in one location.
