The 450,000m2 site in Kastamonu is 15km from the existing particleboard plant, which is located in the city area. The investment was about e100m. Further expansion is planned within the next three years, involving installing another new line capable of producing 300,000m3/year, increasing Kastamonu’s total annual MDF capacity to 960,000m3. Kastamonu also has three particleboard lines at different locations, with a total production capacity of 1.24m3/year. The company’s total MDF and particleboard production capacity is thus 1.9m3/year.
