The October 13-15 meeting in Hannover will include sessions on sustainable construction, improved technologies, energy concepts, quality control and innovations in the fields of resins, flaking and defibration.
European Panel Federation president Laszlo Döry will discuss the current situation facing the European panel industries, while Pfleiderer’s Claus Seemann will cover sustainable construction and resulting demands for the wood based panel industry.
Andreas Michanickl, of the University of Applied Sciences in Rosenheim, is to talk on new perspectives for the industry in a changing world with the introduction of improved technologies.
Fire protection abilities of wood-based panels, the manufacture of glue-free MDF/HDF and formaldehyde emissions will also be covered.
