The European Patent Office has granted Fagus-GreCon intellectual property rights for the GreCon IEM (Intelligent Extinguishing Module).
By enhancing its proven extinguishing automation with the unique Intelligent Extinguishment Technology, the fire prevention specialist has expanded its spark extinguishing systems with advanced monitoring and diagnostic capabilities.
Fagus GreCon says that by utilising intelligent sensor technology, the innovative extinguishing system not only detects water flow but also monitors flow pressure, electrical parameters, and temperatures, identifying early signs of wear to enable predictive maintenance.
GreCon IEM supports manufacturers across industries in reducing unplanned downtime in potentially flammable environments while significantly enhancing operational safety. At the same time, the company says the optimised and reduced extinguishing water volume minimises the environmental impact in the event of an unexpected incident.
In its expandable configurations, the system also offers micro-leak detection and an integrated frost monitoring function, ensuring uninterrupted operation even in low temperatures.
