Pfleiderer has cancelled its plans for the sale of Thermopal, based in Leutkirch, Germany which manufactures decorative particleboard, high-pressure laminates and specialty components, reports Euwid.
Michael Wolff, ceo of Pfleiderer’s Business Center Western Europe, informed Thermopal’s workforce of the decision on March 18. The company then told top clients.
Pfleiderer declined to comment on the decision, and no statement was given on any plans to dispose of Thermopal or the cancellation of the sale, according to Euwid.
Thermopal employs 460 workers, according to the company’s website.
