A young, innovative French company and subsidiary of Avril, Evertree develops, manufactures and markets high-performance rapeseed and sunflower-based adhesive solutions. These biosourced resins derived from local and renewable resources promote sustainability in many ways, by contributing to a significant carbon footprint reduction within the furniture industry and limiting the use of petroleum-based products. They are also less harmful to human health and the environment, as they minimize formaldehyde emissions.
Mr Tabbagh takes over from Nicolas Masson, who has been named transformation director for the finance division of Avril, after eight years at the head of Evertree.
Mr Tabbagh joined Avril in 2011 as CEO of Compagnie des Saveurs. Prior to that, he held several senior executive positions in marketing and B2C and C2C business development for world-leading corporations, including Danone.
Since 2020, he has overseen steering the development of plant-based foods for Avril and integrating new companies such as Austria-based Vegini, French brands Vivien Paille and Hari&Co.
“This new challenge resonates with my professional background, my passion for building commercial successes and my aspiration to contribute to the plant-based food transformation to promote sustainable transitions,” he said.
“My job will be to expand applications for our biosourced adhesive solutions across Europe and to oversee this crucial moment in Evertree’s development as we begin construction for our first plant.”
Evertree’s solutions are gaining increasing visibility and integration in daily life, with a growing client roster in such sectors as interior fittings, furnishings and cultural events. This recent development has been driven by the launch of two new key products in France: NEXT – the first biosourced MDF board, in partnership with Panneaux de Corrèze – in 2021, and PANTair – formaldehyde-free, low- carbonparticleboards produced with SERIPANNEAUX – in 2023.
These innovations have been integrated into projects such as SOLID’s sustainable stage designs for the Musée de la Monnaie de Paris and Opéra de Paris, as well as sustainable furniture collections by Cuisines Morel and Camif.
