Sunds Fibertech and Ranger Board, part of West Fraser Timber, have entered a partnership to modernise Ranger Board’s MDF production plant in Blue Ridge, Alberta.
The project includes the supply of major high-quality press components, including spare parts and a new state-of-the-art press surveillance system. The upgrade is scheduled for the summer of 2025, with Sunds Fibertech’s expertise in multi-opening presses playing a key role in ensuring the project’s success.
“With this new project, Sunds Fibertech continues to expand its footprint in North America, which has been the second-largest sales region for the company this year,” said Kenth Eklund, president sales, Sunds Fibertech. “We are looking forward to further serving both existing and new customers in demanding projects across the continent”.
This new project with Ranger Board is the second major multi-opening press rebuild in the last quarter, underlining Sunds Fibertech’s focus on multi-opening modernisation and services.
