Thai wood-based panel producer S Kijchai Enterprise Public Company Ltd is to build a third MDF plant at its headquarters site in Rayong province.

S Kijchai Enterprise placed an order for an MDF plant with Siempelkamp in May. The move will increase production capacity at the site to 500,000m3. 

The scope of supply for the new plant includes the forming and press line with a ContiRoll in the format 8ft x 52.1m. 

Siempelkamp said the plant supplied would be the innovative further development of the Generation 9i, first presented at LIGNA 2023, featuring an adaptive forming system.
