According to official sources the company invested €35m to build the 83-megawatt plant in Radauti in the country’s northeast.
The facility will use waste wood from Egger’s nearby factory and feed energy back to its production lines.

Egger Group, the Austrian manufacturer of wood panel products, has completed a plant in Romania that will use waste wood to generate power and heat.
