Turkish panel manufacturer Yildiz Entegre has acquired a particleboard and melamine coated particleboard manufacturer.
The company has bought the entire share capital of Masstas, which has a 620m3/day capacity for both particleboard and melamine coated particleboard.
“We plan to increase the production capacity of the newly-acquired Masstas factory,said Hakki Yildiz, member of the Yildiz Entegre board of directors.
“We are also speedily increasing our production capacity by adding new plants to our existing plants,he said.
The group plans to commission a melamine coated particleboard plant at Mersin (capacity of 450,000m3) and a particleboard plant at Manisa during the first quarter of 2012.
